Adoption Process



Most of our pets come from less than ideal backgrounds, so we take a lot of extra steps to ensure that they will go to the best possible homes. Please be patient as we verify all information on your application. An in person meeting will then be scheduled, if appropriate, including a “meet and greet” with your current pets, if any. Depending on the animal in question, a home visit may be requested.



Our regular adoption fees are



Adult Dogs: $100.00



Puppies: $125.00



Due to the popularity of puppies, and to ensure they all go to good homes, we may require a non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy.



Individual animals may vary, depending on 3rd party support or donations, sponsorships, special needs, etc. All pets must be spayed/neutered before they can go home with an adopting family. No Exceptions.



Miss Molly is a chunky monkey who came to us after her momma had to go to a nursing home. She and her sister Allie are a little confused as to why they are here. Molly is a take charge kind of girl and she pretty much runs the small dog house here at the Sanctuary. She would be a good guard dog, well as long as they did not have pizza or something to bribe her with. LOLTo adopt please go to www.libertyacresunited.com and submit an application. Once the application is processed you will receive a call notifying you of the status of the application. If the application is approved we will set up a time for you to meet with your potential new house mate. Please note that if you have dogs currently we recommend that you bring them with you to meet the new dog. Adoption fees are $100 for an adult dog and $125 for a puppy.
